If Windows crashes frequently, it is often due to bad RAM. Windows 10, 8 and 7 have a tool onboard that can test your memory for errors.
Here at GIGA, we show you how to run a RAM diagnosis.
No additional software required. Before we go into RAM usage tips, let’s briefly describe how RAM works if you’re not familiar.
RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It is a temporary memory that contains programs that are currently running on your computer.
Windows reports when the PC runs out of memory.
But even before an error message, there are indications that the RAM is running low: If programs open slowly, a delayed or no reaction occurs at the click of a mouse or empty windows are displayed.
You can easily run the more programs without affecting performance on your computer if you have more RAM in your computer RAM is running slow in your computer because the swap file is used as the hard drive portion.
Indeed, as Windows reads information from the RAM faster than that from the virtual memory (remember that the paging file is located on the hard disk, an excessive increase of this can slow down the programs.
If you want more guides so you have to read guide memory by which you good know why memory is an important component you need to know no and why it can be confusing in any computer or bye buy a guided memory you need to know.. We break it down into easy-to-understand terms that you will understand.
Memory problems and corresponding Windows error messages only occur If you want more background information so read this article thoroughly.
When there is neither enough RAM nor sufficient virtual working memory available.
This is the case, for example, if you run many programs in parallel: playing a game while listening to music, downloading something via the browser, performing program updates and many other combinations.
However, this problem can also occur if applications no longer free memory.
Microsoft calls this problem memory overload or memory leak.
In this article, you will easily find the best eight ways to free up RAM on your Windows. You must follow the following steps written in the article.
1: Check RAM Usage:
You don’t have to guess what your RAM is using. Windows can always provide weaving tools which can open the task manager forcibly by which you can search a smart menu in it or can easily use this key combination with the help of Control + shift + escape.
Click More Details to display the full utility if necessary. You can click the heading memory by tapping the process tab and then you are confined lowest to highest RAM usage. Go to the Performance tab for more information.
If you suspect that the information that is displayed is causing a serious problem, see the full memory leak troubleshooting guide.

If you have a tighter line at the open spots, the RAM is relieved.
Google Chrome is in a separate category here, as it’s notorious for devouring RAM.

3: Adjust the Virtual Memory:
We have already mentioned the paging file. If your system is low on virtual memory then we have to get error messages and hopefully, you can increase it and keep the performance stable.
Looking at the Start menu after the Control Panel to open it.
Now you can see the size of the paging file for your main drive.
We have to select and manage the checkbox so in many cases you can leave it automatically because the windows can take care of it.
However, if you are running out of virtual memory, you may need to turn it off and set the initial size and maximum size values to higher values.
4: Restart Your PC:
This is a tip you are probably familiar with but is popular for a reason.
Restarting your PC also clears the memory and resets all running programs.
Of course, this does not increase your total RAM, but it cleans up processes that are running in the background and maybe consuming RAM.
If you are getting stuck so you have to restart your computer regularly even if you are using it all the time.
5: Deactivates or Uninstall the Software:
After you determine which apps are using the most memory on your system, you should consider whether you use them.

This can multitask you more, the more you need. Find out how much your computer has, how to make the most of it or how to get more out of it.
7: Try Ready Boost:
The lesser–known on Windows can be used in the future which can ReadyBoost to increase your memory if you are still using a mechanical hard drive on your computer. It is an older hard drive.
If you need to upgrade your memory so you have to speed up your computers to outsource RAM and ReadyBoost it to upgrade the memory you need.
It has Limited features used today so it sounds good and ReadyBoost does nothing if your computer uses an SSD because the SSD is much faster then the flash drive.
With more RAM installed by default on computers now, ReadyBoost won’t see as much profit as it did on an anaemic system a decade ago.
ReadyBoost’s “Pretend RAM” does not offer the same performance improvements as adding additional RAM.
8: Malware to check:
Your computer is looking for worth malware so the sources can suck up your memory which is available on rouge software.
In this article, we recommend Malwarebytes which can perform scans and you can rule out the possibility at least but it does not find anything hopefully.
Most memory-resident malware can re–execute itself in memory using several mechanisms such as WMI triggered events, registry entries and smart background transfer services where a system task restart is performed.
So these are the basic and best steps to free up your RAM from Windows. In principle, every program can be swapped out to RAM.
However, if there is not enough space available, Windows temporarily moves the data to the hard drive in the so-called swap file.
You can find it in the Windows directory, it is called Pagefile.sys.
The temporary outsourcing is the virtual RAM and is used to ensure that programs run properly. Must follow the steps we gave you in this article
